Daneben besitzt Kassel nach wie vor Monumente von Rang aus allen Phasen der Baugeschichte. Die Bauten zahlreicher wichtiger Architekten wie Paul und Simon Louis du Ry, Heinrich Christoph Jussow, Leo von Klenze, Johann Conrad Bromeis, Theodor Fischer, Hermann Muthesius, Paul Schmitthenner, Heinrich Tessenow, Otto Haesler, Otto Bartning, Sepp Ruf oder Gottfried Bohm und James Stirling sind in dem Architekturfuhrer dokumentiert.
