The work was revised and enlarged by Christina Hole with a new edition published in 1962. This was reprinted in May 1969 with this edition following in September of the same year. There are a number of small white spots to the front and rear panels of the boards with a small brown mark and a small raised bump to the rear panel and some discolouration along the edgew. Slight dustiness to the page edges with a small stain to the top edges and three small stains at the top of the fore edges. Light browning to the endpapers but the pages are unmarked. The price-clipped jacket has chipping to the surface at the top and bottom of the spine, with a piece of brown tape stuck to the reverse at the bottom, and some rubbing to the edges.
