Interior clean and in very good condition. Thomas Edward Howarth was a headmaster, educator, and historian. In 1952 he became High Master of the prestigious St. Paul's School in London, and was a member of the Public Schools Comission. His book examines public schools, their social and cultural aspects, pressures, and educational theories.
