Signed by author and illustrator. The author and her husband collaborated on some fifty works, Clement Hurd illustrated The Runaway Bunny and Goodnight Moon. His wife Edith was a friend of Margaret Wise Brown. Upon seeing Clement's paintings in the late 1930's Brown asked the artist to create paintings for her works. signed.
