Some light smudging to some pages and signature of 'Louise', bundle of brown crayon lines on second flyleaf; brown crayon 'N' on ffep, along with some penciled-in numbers on lighter green squares, and 'Louise' in pencil; 1 1/2" "lightning" mark in brown crayon on title page; brown crayon '07' colored on Contents page; rear endpapers also have 'Louise' on each page, rear endpaper at rear hinge starting (to about half-way up; page fully intact). Pages have smudges, but printed text unaffected, no marks (nor brown crayon marks). Binding strong; corners sharp; covers clean; no conspicuous rubbing wear at corners or spine ends: does not look over one-hundred years old.
