The second volume, first printed in 1923, includes extensive lists of Finnish settlers in parts of the United States that were settled by Finns. In addition to lists of settlers, S. Ilmonen also wrote short biographies of some of the settlers, varying in length from a couple sentences to five sentences, usually containing detailed genealogical information.
