Flexible. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. Flexible brown faue leather covers with gold deco man with torch on front cover. No ownership marks. Cover is a bit wrinkled on the spine this appears be original from the publisher and not from age or wear. Modern Library No. 78 on jacket spine. Jacket is pale blue construction paper with red band top and bottom. 95c on flap Jacket has 3/8" deep chip from top of spine wrapping around 2" at top of front cover. Same at bottom of spine of jacket but only 1/2" into front cover. Jacket seperated at the rear spine fold as I was putting a mylar cover on it. The mylar cover completey hides the tear along the fold. Looks to be early 20th century.

Binding has cocked slightly forward. Little corner bumping or edge wear, medium wear at head and tail of spine with cloth just fraying. Hinges and gutters are solid, no shadowing. Text is mostly solid in binidng, but two signatures are loose - not seperated yet, but need careful handling. Owner's mark inked on front paste-down and upper edge of title page, otherwise unmarked. Both portrait frontis' retain protective tissues. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
