Da: Wabash Museum Books, Mount Carmel, IL, U.S.A.
Hardcover. Condizione: Fair. No Jacket. 58 pages with ads of other books by publisher in rear of book. Pages tight; some yellowing; no markings; page edges darkened. Forward in front followed by two works: Lazarus and The Gentleman from San Francisco. Beige faded Cardboard covers with black lettering on front. Several smudges, discoloration spots; rubbing, and soiling on covers. Edges, corners and spine ends worn and frayed. Outer portion of spine is torn, exposing inner cloth binding and is in poor condition, but pages intact. Works are fairly typical Slavic literature but contain elements popularly associated with the work of contemporary Russian writers. The tragedies depict the misery of knowing the Unknowable and demonstrates the poverty of wealth and the impotence of power. The two stories arouse thought of Russian literature. RARE VINAGE COPY.
