The book has clean covers, very minor rubbing tips corners, no fading, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, some tiny foxing spots edges of text block otherwise no foxing, no crease marks, solid binding. Before being rebound the…text block was stupidly trimmed causing loss of the captions on several of the photos. Full collation of the book by me (every page) reveals that 2 photo plates, one smaller map and the big folding map at end ARE MISSING and have been REPLACED with photocopies from originals. Overall a working copy with full text and better photo quality than that found in the subpar recent paperback reprint which has low quality photo/map reproductions (reduced in size and awkwardly lumped together).
