Measures 10.5 x 8 inches. Multiple sections bound together in library binding; each section individually paginated. Sections are numbered as follows…: 475, 312, and 364 -- published, respectively, in 1928, 1929 and 1931. The first section is titled "Recent Researches on the Air Resistance of Spheres (No. 475)". 15 pages. The next is titled "Sphere Drag Tests in the Variable Density Wind Tunnel (No. 312)". 10 pages. Section 3 is titled "Tests in the Variable Density Wind Tunnel to Investigate the Effects of Scale and Turbulence on Airfoil Characteristics (No. 364)". 15 pages. Each section is followed by multiple figures and tables. The entire volume, with original covers, has a later library binding. Gutters at front and back reinforced with white cloth. A library stamp and some writing in pen on the front free endpaper. Writing in pencil on the first and last title pages. Pages within are clean and free of foreign markings. Light rubbing to covers. Comes from a large collection of technical memorandums from the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics before the committee was abolished upon creation of NASA in 1958.
