The original card announcing the winner of the 2000 Leica Medal of Excellence and the exhibition of the submitted work by the winner and the two honorable mention photographers. The winner in 2000 was Alex Webb and the honorable mentions, Andreas Bock and Riccardo Venturi. The award ceremony was held July 12, 2000, and the exhibition June 30 - August 26, 2000, both at the Leica Gallery, NYC. Stiff card, machine-folded once to 4 pages; texts by Rose and Jay Deutsch; 1 color and 2 duo-toned b&w illustrations; 8.25 x 5.5 inches. Condition: Fine.
