The Floren novel is an abridged version of a novel originally published by Phoenix Press in 1950 whereas the Hopson novel is a paperback original. The spine has some reading creasing and edge rubbing but otherwise only slight surface and edge wear to the covers. Browning to the page edges with a two inch patch of staining at the top of the fore edges and a little discolouration at one end. The first page of each novel has a small pen mark and there is a little creasing to the top corners at the front of the Floren novel which also has a light stain at the bottom of the first two pages. The pages are browned but they are otherwise unmarked. The cover of the Floren novel is by John Leone and the cover of the Hopson novel is by Walter Popp. First printing.
