Two vintage working advertising proofs for the 1944 film, both with manuscript pencil annotations amending text and layout on the recto, and two printer labels on the verso of the narrow proof. Based on the 1943 book by Captain Ted W. Lawson and edited by Robert Considine, an eyewitness account of the first American retaliatory strike against Japan, four months after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, led by US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel James Doolittle. Set in Florida and shot on location in Florida and California. 11.5 x 17 inches and 7.25 x 18 inches. Very Good plus, with light creasing and faint overall rubbing and soiling.
