Condizione: New. Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book examines the complex political landscape of Spain in the late 19th century, focusing on the competing claims to the throne following the overthrow of Queen Isabella II. The author explores the ambitions of various political factions, including monarchists, republicans, and military leaders, and analyzes the role of foreign powers in shaping the outcome of the conflict. The book provides a detailed account of the events leading up to and following the revolution of 1868, and offers insights into the motivations and strategies of the key players involved. Through a meticulous examination of primary sources, the author sheds light on the complexities of Spanish politics during this turbulent period, revealing the interplay of personal ambition, ideological conflict, and international intrigue that ultimately determined the future of the nation. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
