The original moss-green cloth is rubbed at the extremities, with a scratch on the lower board; gilt lettering is clear on the bumped spine. Ex-Library from the University of Hawaii, with blind-stamp on the title page, and an ink number with discreet 'Withdrawn' at the preface. There is light toning to the free endpapers and a signature of author R. [Robert] H. Murray who left pale pencil markings---mostly in Whitehead's essay, "The First Physical Synthesis."
