Gilt embossed lettering to the spine which is faded. There is also some damp staining to the lower corner of the rear board, adjacent to the spine and a strip of light fading to the head of the rear board. Some white stain marks to the front edge of the spine strip. The cloth at the tail of the spine is lightly turned in are a couple of areas of rubbing with slight loss of the overlying cloth at the head of the spine. Bump to the front edge of the front board. There is an ink name, date and place inscription to the front end paper. Several unopened pages have been opened, leaving chips to the margins but wiht no loss of the text. One page has pencil marginalia. Clean and tight. A good copy.
