Hardcover. Condizione: Good+. Please see photos for condition details. Hardcover, brown cloth boards show scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. Spine is darkened near the bottom and there is some minor staining along the bottom edge of both boards near the inside corners. The internal binding is good, no hinge cracks. There are no signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting found. Text pages are mildly toned but are clean, although there is quite a bit of foxing and spotting on both end pages and pastedowns. The foldout chart at page 31 is present and attached, but there is a a few creases from where it was folded wrong along with a small tear in the upper outside corner. The copyright page states third impression, May 1922.

Foxing to text block edges; light toning to endpapers; early leaves slightly nicked at top edges with light shallow staining at top margins; interior pages otherwise have a few light foxing spots at margins but, overall, remain clean. Binding is firm. A very good- copy in a good+ dust jacket. With Note, Preface, unpaged b/w plates including frontispiece, tables including unpaged foldout (between pages 30-31), and a few b/w vignette sketch illustrations inset amongst text.
