Hardcover. Condizione: Near fine. First Edition. Oblong large folio, 322pp., plus numerous plates. An unusually nice copy; near fine. Somewhat musty, but clean and bright internally. Some scuffing to spine, and the boards mildly dust-soiled, but a crisp, sound copy of this extremely large and heavy volume, usually found quite shaken, abused, and falling apart. An epic tome, full to bursting with illustrations from photographs and drawings of figures, locations, and events of the Spanish-American War. Among the color illustrations (some of which are folding) are contributions from Howard Chandler Christy, Henry Reuterdahl, and others. Extremely uncommon in this condition.
