Signed by Author(s)This copy is signed (as possible owner?) by Norman Hershilwood then a member of the Cape Provincial Administration on the frontispage. He has dated it 3rd March 1960. On the reverse frontispage there are signatures from other members of the Provincial Administration including that of the Administrator (J. H. O. du Plessis) and others including A. P. Venter and J. N. Malan and the editor, AJB de Klerk (who dated it 2/3/60). This copy is in general good condition. The bound blue cover print is bright and bold. There is very little wear to the corners and spine. The spine does have a former library sticker at the base. Inside, the frontis illustration is loosened but still secure. The op-title page illustration page has a closed tear at the base. Inside, the contents, in English and Afrikaans throughout, are in good clean, clear, authoritative condition. The book is strongly bound. fk.
