Kretschmer (1879-1951), graduate of Northwestern Medical School, Magna Cum Laude, former president and treasurer of the AMA, was a urological surgeon, and authored 225 articles and papers dealing with genitourinary surgery (Schwarz, J. C. [ed.]. Who's Who Among Physicians and Surgeons. Vol. 1. New York: J. C. Schwarz,… 1938. p. 674). Goodwin was a prominent Los Angeles urologist.
