A history of football at the University of Minnesota from its origin (around 1880) until 1928. The authors claim that the first game was to have been a challenge from "the sophs and juniors" to any other class to a game. The challenge was apparently accepted, but the game did not take place "due to the non-arrival of the ball". A very interesting book and very rare; OCLC shows only eight known copies.
