Black-and-white progressive portrait frontispieces of Shevchenko as he matured, each volume accompanied with many additional black-and-white, and colour plates of engravings, illustrations and facsimiles. Extremities exceptionally, and uniformly well-preserved, contents equally without blemish with bright, clean, and unmarked leaves and firm, sound binding. Overall, near fine.
