Scarce hardcover edition, first issue after 10 collectors copies and a 100-book limited edition. This is a collection gathered from years of Levenson's carnival prowling, with the newbie Gray tagging along one year to chronicle the bizarre spectacle of a sideshow in Nashville. Gray, who was a one-of-a-kind performance artist as well as a writer, was severely injured in a car crash in Ireland in 2003 and never recovered, lapsing into depression and committing suicide about a year later.Dust jacket shows light wear, no tears.Pages clean and tight.
