The object of this book is to minister to those needs by means of direct practice in the kinds of lettering most required by engineers, architects, and surveyors. This book consists of a description of the text as outlined in the following descriptive exercise, for students to copy. This goes on for some 200 pages. At the end of the text there are 4 pull-out pages demonstrating the actual use of the prescribed handwritten letters in documents. It is likely that there are examples of text never seen today. This large format book, 282 pages measuring 310mm X 205mm is in very-good condition. The binding has two torn sections between the spine and front cover measuring 30mm and 15mm.
