In the publisher…'s terra cotta sand-grain cloth binding, with beveled boards; a chromolithograph onlay, a blue coated paper onlay, black and gilt-stamped ruled borders and frames, gilt-stamped ruled diaper pattern with rose, shamrock, and thistle devices, and gilt over-stamped black letter titling on the front panel; black and gilt-stamped ruled and ornamental head and tail bands, and gilt-stamped black letter running titling on the spine; and blind-stamped ruled borders, and ruled diaper pattern with rose, shamrock, and thistle devices on the rear panel.
