In fair condition, lightly aged, slightly spotted and laid down along one edge on thicker piece of paper. In an elegant calligraphic hand he writes: 'Believe me / Yours truly / Geo du Maurier / Apr. 26, 83'. The 'eo' of the 'Geo' of the signature is presented as a stylish squiggle, looking a little like a 'W'. See image.
