In the present paper the discoveries of Punctum pygmaeum, Toltecia pusilla, Acanthinula aculeata, Vertigo antivertigo and Caracollina lenticula are listed. It seems that these records are the first of these species for the Island of Crete. 4 pp., 2 maps, 4.

A new subspecies of Helicodonta gyria (Roth), H. g. wilhelminae subspec. nov., is described from three localities in the northwestern part of the Dikti Mountains, Nomos Lasithiou, Crete, Greece. A new subspecies of the troglobitic, pulmonate snail Spelaeoconcha paganettii Sturany, viz. S. p. alphonsi subspec. nov., is described from Yugoslavia and data concerning the nominate subspecies and S. p. polymorpha Wagner, are summarized. The polytypic species is distributed from the coastal area westward to c. 130 km inland, which is a unique pattern for a molluscan troglobiont.
