Sinoennea karnekampi spec. nov. (Streptaxidae), and Paraboysidia kitteli spec. nov. and Bensonella karoensis spec. nov. (Hypselostomatidae) from Sumatra (Indonesia) are described. New records are given for the streptaxid species Huttonella bicolor (Hutton, 1834), Sinoennea sumatrensis van Benthem Jutting, 1959, and the hypselostomatids Gyliotrachela hungerfordiana (Moellendorff, 1886) and Paraboysidia boettgeri (Moellendorff, 1897). New taxa: Sinoennea karnekampi n. sp., Paraboysidia kitteli n. sp., Bensonella karoensis n. sp. 6 pp., 9 figs, gr. 8.…

A new subspecies of Helicodonta gyria (Roth), H. g. wilhelminae subspec. nov., is described from three localities in the northwestern part of the Dikti Mountains, Nomos Lasithiou, Crete, Greece. The genus Helicodonta has not been reported from Greece before. New taxon: Helicodonta gyria wilhelminae n. ssp. 4 pp, 7 figs, gr. 8.…

A new subspecies of the troglobitic, pulmonate snail Spelaeoconcha paganettii Sturany, viz. S. p. alphonsi subspec. nov., is described from Yugoslavia and data concerning the nominate subspecies and S. p. polymorpha Wagner, are summarized. The polytypic species is distributed from the coastal area westward to c. 130 km inland, which is a unique pattern for a molluscan troglobiont. The species is probably not restricted to the cave habitat. 4 pp., 6 figs, gr. 8.…

The dextral species Amphidromus protania spec. nov. is described from Laos. Its genital anatomy is compared with that of other Amphidromus species. Some notes on conchologically similar taxa are added. 4 pp., 4 figs, gr. 8.

The species of the Pupinidae occurring on Sulawesi are revised. So far now five species have been found. Three species (Sulapina theresiae, Moulinsia boucheti, Callianella incerta) and a genus (Sulapina) are new. All the species are endemic to Sulawesi. 6 pp., 7 figs, gr. 8.

New taxon: Oxychilus (Schistophallus) minoicus n. ssp. 6 pp., 11 figs, gr. 8.

What has been considered to be Hyalina moussoni Kobelt, 1878, appears to represent a new species, here described s.n. Oxychilus (Schistophallus) investigatus n. sp. Riedel (SW. Bulgaria, northern parts of European Turkey, and NW. Asia Minor). The holotype of Oxychilus (Schistophallus) moussoni (Senckenberg-Museum, Frankfurt a. M.)was compared to recent material from both sides of the Bosporus, and found to agree perfectly; anatomical details are supplied for the first time. The species appears to be restricted to the above-mentioned very limited area. 7 pp., 9 figs, gr. 8.…

Next to the so-called well-known Balea (B.) perversa, there is another wide-spread consubgeneric species in western Europe, viz. B. (B.) heydeni. Here the latter species is reported from the coastal area of The Netherlands. It may be sympatric with B. (B.) perversa, which has been reported from all over the country. The conchological characteristics of the two species are described and illustrated, with possible differences in the colouration of the soft parts. 7+1 pp., 5 figs, gr. 8.…

Two new species of Monachoides Gude and Woodward, M. kosovoensis and M. taraensis, are described from Kosovo and Crna Gora, Yugoslavia, on the basis of conchological and anatomical characters. The assignment of both species to the genus Monachoides is somewhat doubtful in view of the presence of a small second dart-sac in M. kosovoensis, and the atypical shell of M. taraensis. A lectotype shell of Monacha fallax Wagner, 1915, is designated and figured. An annotated checklist of all nominal hygromiid western Balkan species (sensu Schileyko, 1991, exclusive of the Helicellinae , and the genus Monacha Fitzinger s.l.) is provided. New taxa: Monachoides taraensis n. sp., Monachoides kosovoensis n. sp. 20 pp., 39 figs, gr. 8.…
