No attempt to list newspaper articles, articles in magazines published by reservation schools, or occasional publications by tribal councils or government agencies, unless these were published elsewhere. Included are articles from The Great Plains Observer and North Country Anvil, two newspaper-like publications that have focused on the Sioux in Minnesota and South Dakota. Dissertations and theses that have been published as articles or books, and regional bibliographies of theses hat have appeared in journals have been included.
