Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. 1st Edition. Translated and edited by General Thomas R. Phillips for this 1944 reprint of the original 1757 publication. Bound in burgundy cloth with gold print on cover and spine, this copy is in near fine condition with previous owner's name on ffep and slight aging of pages otherwise bright and tight. The dust jacket has a piece missing from top of spine and wear around edges, but blue cover with drawing and title as well as back with other military publications are good and now protected by plastic cover. Black and white illustrations and maps.
