Original brown and stamped gilt decorative cloth, 6x8 ¼ inches, 349 pp, illustrated with black and white drawings. Very good. Corners bumped, 1/8th inch fraying at head and foot of spine…, what appears to be bleach stains, approximately ½ to 1 ½ inches deep, along lower edges of boards and on some of the adjoining portions of the textblock. Internally, previous owner's bookplate, inscription (in pencil) on front endpaper, moderate underlining and bracketing on a dozen or so pages, (also in pencil) , otherwise tight, clean, paper crisp, unmarked. Religion; Christian; Bible studies; women's studies; feminism.
