Boards have shelf-wear present to the extremities (crown of the spine is chipped and worn). No ownership marks present. Text is clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. Frederick Russell Burnham DSO (May 11, 1861 September 1, 1947) was an American scout and world traveling adventurer. He is known for his service to the British South Africa Company, then the British Army in colonial Africa, and for teaching woodcraft to Robert Baden-Powell, becoming one of the inspirations for the founding of the international Scouting Movement. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.

In the publisher's original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart. Lightly rubbed to the spine and the joints with some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A little worn towards the extremities. Rear hinge starting, but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound, with the gutter visible at pages 26 to 27, 74 to 75, and 90 to 91. Pages lightly age-toned but bright and clean throughout. Very Good. book.
