First edition, undated (c1918); small stapled booklet; pp. [3] including text to front cover verso, 4-38, [2] including text to back cover; original wraps; fading and creasing to wraps; cut to head of spine; page edges show fraying; fair to good condition. Subtitled: "Practical French and German Phrases and How to Pronounce Them." This booklet was distributed among American soldiers during WWI. The Kolynos Company were makers of Kolynos Dental Cream. The last page contains tips for the "soldier and his teeth," as well as tips on preventing "Trench Gingivitis." This copy was actually found in the pocket of an old army uniform, thus it most probably was used during the war. 4.
