The Directors, on behalf of the shareholders…and policyholders, and on their own behalf, extend to him their felicitations on this noteworthy anniversary, and offer him their warm and hearty congratulations. "In doing so they formally record their appreication of Mr. Macaulay's distinguished contribution to the upbuilding of the great institution with which he has been an officer of the Company and for twelve years to its present predominant position is chiefly attributable to his leadersip and his unfaltering devotion to its interests. "In order that Mr. Macaulay's services may be permanently recorded, they direct that an historical record of the Company be prepared and dedicated to him under the title of 'The President's Book.' Some foxing to end pages and very slight foxing to some pages. Handcut edges. Red Leatherette with gilt lettering. S. H. Maw and A. Sherriff Scott (illustratore).

Québec, Librairie Garneau, 1932, large carte dépliante d'environ 90 X 70 cm, illustrée en couleur, logée dans une pochette de papier imprimé du titre sur l'une des faces. Les textes sont en anglais. La carte est en excellent état, d'une belle fraicheur, avec seulement une déchirure de moi…ns de 4 cm à la marge supérieur et qui a été recollé à la colle ainsi qu'une étrange ligne rougeâtre à la marge gauche. La pochette de papier cependant est en mauvais état montrant diverses traces d'usure, des déchirures, de petits éclats manquants et un certain jaunissement. Il ne s'agit pas d'une carte à l'échelle mais plutôt d'une carte destinée aux touristes.
