Author and broadcaster June Knox-Mawer (1930-2006), married Ronald Knox-Mawer, a barrister and member of the colonial judiciary in 1951. They had a son a and a daughter. The couple lived in Arabia and Fiji, which inspired her writing. In 1972 they retired and returned to the UK. This was June's debut book. Quite a scarce book. Jacket by Derek Williams (illustratore).
