No other marks or stamps to this very tight bookwith faultless interior pages and has the feel of a book never read. Frontispiece poirtrait of Senator McCarthy. This book is a detailed record of the 85th Conress First Session and the Memorial Services held for Senator Joseph McCarthy. McCarthy was a decorated Marine Corp veteran who served as a Republican in the United States Senate from 1946 until his death at the naval hospital in Bethesday in 1957. This book consists of 353 very detailed pages of the Memorial Services and the eulogys, and they were many, given in the Senate. Memorial addresses were given by Mike Mansfield, Barry Goldwater and dozens and dozens of others. Every word spoken and every action taken is recorded in this book. The book was printed by the National Weekly with a note Not Printed at Government Expense. There were addresses, memorial services, numerous tributes, resolutions introduced, and editorials, Listing of the Contents alone take up seven pages. All of the remarks, resolutions, and more are included in this book.
