This is a collection of nice poems called the Little Blue-Eyed Lady and Other Poems, copyright 1938, second edition, soft cover, written and signed by author/poet Rozmary Seat, with an introduction by John Steven McGroarty. The book has usual church library markings wear on cover and slight tears on top and bottom of spine cover, with bumped corners and edge wear, otherwise in good condition with firm binding and 108 pages. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Signed by Author(s).

No Jacket. 1931 PRINTING (THIRTEENTH EDITION) hardcover, sewn-bound in green cloth, with dimmed gilt lettering on front cover and spine, is in G condition, having some bumping and wear to corners; stain near bottom of front cover, as well as some staining to spine; spine has some sun-fading as do edges of front and back covers; some fraying to top and bottom spine (see photos); former bookseller/owner has put a small round red sticker near top of first fixed endpaper, and on first free endpaper at top right is the ghost of an old erased penciled price, unfortunately too firmly written; this book was published with uncut pages, and it looks like many of the pages are still uncut; some light handling wear (dimpling) to top of page from first endpapers to frontispiece. Book is illustrated with sepia photographs. John Steven McGroarty (1862-1944) was Poet Laureate of California in 1933, a columnist for the Los Angeles Times, and the author of plays and numerous books. History. United States. California. DB.
