Certains fragments des mêmes manuscrits, ou des mêmes textes, ont d'autre part été recueillis par Aurel Stein et sont conservés à Londres, à L India Office et au British Museum. Il a parfois été possible, par rapprochement de fragments de Londres et de Paris, de reconstituer de longues séquences de textes. La coopération des deux bibliothèques et des spécialistes qui avaient étudié les deux collections a été fructueuse. Elle a permis de donner un texte en grande partie suivi et dont les divers fragments ont pu être mis en ordre.
