Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Neuware - What if Freemasonry has preserved a hidden structure-one that was never meant to be seen as separate For over two centuries, the relationship between the Royal Arch and the Knight Templar has remained obscure-treated as a matter of tradition, yet rarely understood as a coherent system.Drawing on rare eighteenth-century Sheffield manuscripts, Marc F. Meisner uncovers a lost ritual architecture at the heart of English Freemasonry. These texts-among the earliest to link the Royal Arch and the Knight Templar within a single initiatory progression-reveal a structure later obscured by institutional reform and reinterpretation.A unified system, long forgottenWhat emerges is not a collection of degrees, but a coherent ceremonial logic, unfolding as a single movement: - from the Temple to the Cross- from the rediscovery of the Divine Name to the imitation of the Passion- from symbolic Masonry to a fully articulated Christian ritual dramaturgyIn this light, the Royal Arch and the Knight Templar are no longer separate traditions, but two moments within a single theological and initiatory continuum.Grounded in original sourcesThis book is based on: - rare Sheffield ritual manuscripts (c. 1780-1785)- previously inaccessible or untranslated material- a close analysis of ritual structure, language, and transmissionIt offers both: - a critical edition of primary sources- and a far-reaching reinterpretation of Masonic historyWho this book is for- Freemasons seeking a deeper understanding of the Royal Arch and Knight Templar- Historians of Freemasonry and early modern religious culture- Readers interested in the hidden architecture of initiatory systemsA discovery-not a reinterpretationThis is not a reconstruction. It is the recovery of a forgotten structure. Meisner, Camille Y. (illustratore).…

Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu.
