Sie sind ebenfalls in Form von Adressen- oder Erfüllungsrisiken in dem stark expandierenden Handelsgeschäft der Banken, im Interbankgeschäft, im Zahlungsverkehr und nicht zuletzt in Geld- und Kapitalanlagen enthalten.Auf die zunehmenden Kreditrisiken und das publik werden bankinterner Problemfälle reagieren die nationalen und internationalen Kontrollinstanzen (Bundesbank, BAKred, Basler Ausschuss für Bankaufsicht usw.) mit einer Verschärfung des gesetzlich festgeschriebenen Berichtswesens für Banken.Die neunziger Jahre haben sich als Jahrzehnt der Marktrisikomessung hervorgetan. Darüber hinaus sind neuerdings Quantifizierungsmöglichkeiten von Kreditrisiken entstanden, die sich mit den wechselnden Markterfordernissen ständig weiterentwickeln.In den letzten Jahren sind die vielfältigsten Instrumente zur effektiven Kreditrisikosteuerung entwickelt worden. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit liegt auf Beschreibung dedizierter, teilweise sehr innovativer Instrumente, sowie deren Berücksichtigung im deutschen Bankenaufsichtsrecht.Gang der Untersuchung:Nach Klärung der Begriffe Kredit und Kreditrisikos wird in der Arbeit kurz der Unterschied von Kreditrisiken im Gegensatz zu Marktrisiken erläutert.Danach schließt sich ein kurzer Exkurs zu der für das Kreditrisiko wichtige Bonitätsanalyse, oder international auch als 'Rating' bezeichnet, an.Anschließend werden Maßnahmen zur Steuerung von Kreditrisiken näher erläutert, wobei der Schwerpunkt dabei auf der Beschreibung der Risikoüberwälzung in Form von Verbriefung von Krediten und Konstruierung von verschiedenen Varianten von Kreditderivaten gelegt wird.Ein Abschnitt ist dann einer kurzen Beschreibung der aufsichtsrechtlichen Ziele und Anforderungen in Deutschland gewidmet.
