We have laboring ceaselessly in the thorny fields of historical and antiquarian research for 45 long years, for the sake of an ideal. There are few who are acquainted with the history of the Armenians in India, their condition, their traditions, and the sphere of their activities. Many are ignorant of their past, and theinfluence they exerted for good those olden days of turmoil and unrest. They came to this country by the overland route, and were well established in all the commercial centers long before the advent of any European traders into the country. The subject matter of the book is good as it explores the new avenues in the context of the Armenian history. About the Author:- Mesrovb Jacob Seth was an author, historian and school master of Classical Armenian at the Armenian College and Philanthropic Academy, Kolkata. Seth went to India for studies and was educated at the Armenian College, Calcutta.
