First edition and first printing. Hardcover. Edited by Robert Brandau. Features an essay by Philippe Jullian. Includes 72 images by de Meyer of the likes of Gloria Vanderbilt Whitney, Vaslav Nijinsky, Alvin Langdon Coburn, Eugene O'Neill, Anna Pavlova, Gloria Swanson and numerous others. An about good copy with faint evidence of moisture to the bottom corner of some of the last pages and some other minor wear and in a very good dust jacket with some sunning to the edges and other light wear. Despite the flaws a solid reference copy.
