Exhibition Announcement Cards. This is not a book. The original announcement card for five concurrent exhibitions of photography held at the Edward Carter Gallery in New York and in California. In NYC, September 4 - November 20, 1999: Christopher Burkett, "Intimations of Paradise;" Lyle Gomes, "Hand-made Landscapes;" and Ansel Adams, "The Measure of an Artist." In Gualala, CA, September 16 - November 6, 1999: Michael Lardizabal, "Timeless Country" and Ansel Adams, "A Closer Look." The image to the front is "North Hampton County, Pennsylvania" by Lardizabal. Stiff card, machine-folded once to 4 pages; 7 x 5 inches. Condition: Fine. Will be sandwiched securely between stiff layers of cardboard and shipped the next business day. International postage may be less than quoted.

Hardcover. Condizione: Very good+ to fine condition. First edition. Inscribed "To Stephen Cohen Best wishes and success Lardizabal 4/92" on title page. Square Quarto (11 1/8"). 3 leaves, 22 plates, 2 leaves. Original black cloth with silver lettering on cover and spine. Textured umber endpapers. The landscapes in this book, including city and industrial motifs, are all reproductions from original contact prints on hand sensitized platinum and palladium paper. The photographs were made using both 8 x 10 and 12 x 20 inch view cameras. Lardizabal uses TRI-X and Super XX cut film developed in ABC Pyro. The reproductions were made from 300 line screen laser duotones. Binding lightly rubbed, else in fine condition.
