Paperback. Condizione: New. Print on Demand. This book chronicles the invention and technical development of a high-precision instrument for measuring the absolute spectral response of detectors. The device was designed to transfer the National Bureau of Standards' (NBS) absolute radiant power base in the ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared spectral regions. It allows other laboratories to accurately measure the spectral response of detectors and diagnose common measurement problems. The book provides a complete description of the electronic and mechanical aspects of the instrument, along with detailed instructions for its use. By thoroughly exploring the properties of this instrument, this book not only illuminates the intricacies of its design, but also emphasizes the significance of accurate detector response transfer in scientific research and industrial applications. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.…
