Many wonderful articles including: Common India…n Snakes, Palms of British India and Ceylon by Blatter, Termites from British India, A Fight Between a Jackal and an Imperial Eagel, Flying Squirrels, Teeth of Snails, Voracity of Vultures, Occurrence of the Emerald Dove, Butterflies (color plate), Effect of Castration on a Black Buck, Habits of the Painted Spur Fowl, Rare Snakes, etc. Modest bookplate of a Natural History Library inside front cover but no other ownership marks, no spine numbers, no stamps, no pocket. Nice association: tipped in is typed slip of paper reading "Presented by the father of Pilot Officer Patrick Claude Nangle RAAF, killed on active service Octobr 20th 1941." VG plus, slight wear to corners. Binding secure.
