There is a 1-1/4 x 3/4" hole in page 33/34 (affecting text). On the front pastedown, there is a bookplate of "John Reid & Son's Circulating Library". No other library markings present. Title written in pencil on the front pastedown. There are some pencil scribblings and a two pencil drawings (by a previous owner) on the last blank & rear flyleaf. Ownership inscription in pencil to the front endpaper. Internally generally firmly bound, pages are generally bright and clean, although there is foxing to the illustrations, which do not have tissue guards. Very Good.
