Condizione: Neu. nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Business goals of manufacturing systems are typicallyin a state of constant change and greater rates ofchange are predicted in the future. Whereascontemporary approaches to the design andconstruction of these systems often results ininflexible enterprises that cannot readily be tunedto changing business goals. This work has specifiedand prototyped the use of a new model-driven andcomponent based approach to the design and(re)configuration of change capable manufacturingcells. A new development of this modelling structure allowspre-modelled tasks to be selected, detailed andorganised and suitable resources and reusable controlsystem components (or building blocks) assigned togroups of tasks. Thereby this new approached todesigning and building manufacturing cells canfacilitate rapid and effective design andreconfiguration of manufacturing cell controlsystems. The research has shown how modelled sets ofsoftware component building blocks can be specifiedand implemented as modular, reusable elements ofmanufacturing cell control systems.
