Soft cover. Condizione: Very Good. An early history (1931) of the North Texas city of Wichita Falls, Texas. This former library book was pulled from the reference department of The Kemp Public Library. There is a notation that it must be kept in the main office. The book begins with a compilation noted as "reminiscences of pioneer citizens". One of the brightest inclusions in this publication is that it contains 144 illustrations of the city in its infancy. This includes photos The Wichita Fall Sanitarium in 1890; the Kemp Boulevard Street Car in 1911; Kiowa Chief, Quanah Parker; World War I Kell Air Port in 1919; and the death masks of two bandits who robbed the City National Bank in 1896. A hand inked reference number is on the front free page. Several taped repairs are at the bottom of pages 11,13,15,and 34. A white 2.5mm and 3mm tape denotes the library number on the spine. A excellent genealogy reference. "Wichita Falls Public Library" is stamped on the top and bottom exterior edge. *Ships to USA addresses only, media mail.
