Max Muller issued the lectures, with notes and two different essays, in book form at London in 1873 as: Introducton to the science of religion. -- The lecture `Uber den Buddhistischen Nihilismus' was delivered and published at Kiel in 1869. -- Muller's version of the Dhammapada (423 verses in 26 books), from the Pali, first appeared in the introduction to `Buddhaghosha's parables', translated by T. Rogers, in 1870. Good orig. brown cloth, spine ends frayed, eps cracked at hinges.
