Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Please see photos for condition details. Hardcover, light brown cloth boards with gilt on front. The exterior shows scuffing and soiling along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The internal binding is good, except for a surface crack at the front board hinge, which is only visible because of the dark brown paper used. There are two interesting bookplates: the first one states "With complements of William Winchester" along with an 1880 date. Second bookplate states the book is from the Private Library of William J. Latta, and his signature also appears on the frontispiece. Pages are still bright and are overall clean. No publication date was found in the book, but the publisher's records show this title was published in 1879 which coincides with the date penciled on one of the bookplates.
Paperback. Condizione: Good. Signed by Irving Sigel on first page, with inscription. No text markings noted. Wear at corners, remnant of adhesive label on back cover.
