Soft Cover. Condizione: Very Good binding. This controversial pamphlet caused a stir when Neva Moss went on the lecture circuit in the 1920's. She portrayed herself as an "escaped nun" and characterized convents as "Roman prison houses" and "slave houses". Ms. Moss was at the "House of the Good Shepherd" in Detroit, and the booklet is illustrated with many black and white photographs of that facility. She was actually arrested when lecturing in Australia for attempting to give a lecture "for women only". 145 pp. and uncommon, with only six copies found on OCLC. Very Good binding.
